1. The Harvest Truth Message Studies (HTMS) study tool is an electronic, multi-indexed and proximity searchable copy of the six volumes of Studies in the Scriptures and Tabernacle Shadows written by Pastor Russell.
2. Unquestionably he was the seventh messenger that delivered the meat in due season promised by the Lord to the feet members of the little flock at His return.
3. These writings contain every aspect of present truth in an orderly and structured manner proving that the Bible harmoniously reveals God's promises for mankind's ransom secured by Jesus' sacrificial death and the human race's restitution to perfection during the Millennial Reign of Christ.

1. HTMS functionality was completed years ago to transform data stored in an electronic device's local memory in XML files and display it as web-pages in commonly available browsers supporting that technology.
2. Browser functionality has become excessively restrictive to remove vulnerability to cyber-criminals.
3. These changes have necessitated the complete restructuring of HTMS files to HTML5 file standards.

1. It is important to emphasize that HTMS files have always been and will continue to be read only in nature and as such cannot damage any other files or program functionality of any other applications or opperating system files.

1. Volume Pages are displayed nearly identical to the printed books execpt that words are not hyphenated which makes lines end differently.

1. Bible Verses of the King James version are displayed by chapter.

1. Scripture Citations are indicated by a blue bold text font on volume pages.
2. These are hyperlinks that open the King James translation Bible to the referenced chapter and verse(s) which are highlighted with a yellow background for instant recognition.

1. Spurious Passages of the New Testament not found in the Sinaitic and Vatican #1209 Greek MMS are indicated by a violet strike-through text font when displayed in bible verses and cited scripture passages.

1. Bible Quotations are light-blue highlighted on volume pages.

1. Publication Quotations are light-pink highlighted on volume pages.

1. The Author's Comments within quotations are indicated by a dark-purple bold text font on volume pages.

1. Publication Names of authors are indicated by a red bold text font, and names of Publication Sources are indicated by a red italics bold text font on volume pages.

1. Historical Person Names are indicated by a violet bold text font on volume pages.

1. Chronology Dates, Periods, and Events are indicated by a green bold text font on volume pages.

1. The Last Editions of the volumes published by the author were used as the source for the text content of the volume pages.
2. Typographic/Spelling Errata are orange highlighted on volume pages with deleted text indicated by a violet strike-through text font.

1. Reference Indices display the volume page number locations where featured items appear. These page numbers are only hyperlinks in specific indices.

1. Items in the various indices come ONLY from Pastor Russell words, NOT from the words quoted from other writers/speeches.

1. Proximity Search displays a page reference and the text of each instance of the search words located according to the search rules.

Organized Study Format

1. Each Volume is divided into 7 Coures of study.

1. Each Course has a title and considers the text in 1 or more segments (Flyleaf, Foreward, Chapter, Appendix)

1. Each Course is divided into multiple lessons.
1. Each Lesson has a title and has not more than 8 associated questions.
1. Each Question is directed to the text of 1 or more segments (paragraphs, scriptures, tables, graphics)
1. Every question begins with the word "WHAT", "HOW", OR "WHY" in an effort to stimulate the mind to not only grasp the principle or doctrine being discussed, but also how it relates to the sequence of thoughts as the subject is deveoped and why it is important to the harmony of the truth doctrines with God's cardinal attibutes.
1. Course titles are hilighted in yellow and appear in the volume index preceding the segments of the volume which are considered.
1. Lesson titles are hilighted in yellow and appear on the volume page preceding the first question of the volume text considered.
1. Qustions are hilighted in yellow and appear on the volume page preceding the first segment of the volume text that the question addresses.

The Course number associated with a Course Title on a Volume Index page is a link which when clicked displays a list of Lessions for that Course.
The Lession number associated with a Lesson Title on a Course Lessions List is a link which when clicked open the Volume page where the Lesson content begins.

Page Navigation

1. Verses of Bible chapters are presented in columns which contain as many complete verses as will fit.
2. As many columns are created as necessay for all the verses of the chapter, but initially only the first 2 columns are displayed.

1. Use the symbol in the right margin to move to the next column, and in the left margin to return to the prior column.

1. This movement of 1 column at a time allows seeing the context from the bottom of one column to the top of the next column.

1. Use the symbols in the middle of the volume page margins to move to the next or previous volume page.

1. Use the symbol at the top of the left margin to go to the first page of the volume chapter.

1. Use the symbol at the bottom of the left margin to go to the last page of the volume chapter.

1. Use the upper and lower symbols in the right column to commense a "binary search" to go to a particular page.

1. The first use of the upper symbol goes to a page halfway between the first page and the current page.

1. The first use of the lower symbol goes to a page halfway between the last page and the current page.

1. Subsequent use of the upper or lower symbols go to earlier or later halfway pages from the progressive search page.

1. Use the next or previous page symbols to terminate the "binary search" function at any time during the binary search.

1. Scripture Citations on Volume Pages are hyperlinks to the King James Bible Chapters with the referenced verses yellow-hilighted.

1. Exiting the King James Bible Chapter now opens the Scripture Citations Index for the referenced Bible Chapter.

1. The Volume Page numbers in the Scripture Citation Index are hyperlinks that displays the referenced volume pages.

1. Exiting the referenced volume page re-displays the Citations Index for the referenced bible Chapter.

1. This process of viewing volume pages that refer to the cited Scripture can be used without limitation.

1. Exiting the Scripture Citation Index redisplays the original volume page.

HTMS General Usage

1. HTMS has been developed and tested only on a MicroSoft Windows Laptop Computer.

1. HTMS is a web app which runs in an internet browser; and therefore it should function on any electronic device having an internet connection and browser.

1. Navigation between HTMS files has been implemented with "Button Click" functionality and presently there is no touch screen navigation implemented for Android tablets and smart-phones, so some basic functionality may work on Android devices.

1. No development and testing of touch screen navigation will occur until the restructuring has been completed and released.

Remote Instalation

1. HTMS is remotely installed on the internet and all files are "read only" so no user can deliberately or accidentally alter an HTMS file.

1. Every HTMS file has built-in file corruption detection.
2. The minutest alteration of any HTMS file is detected before the content is displayed.
3. Although this should never occur, if a file has become altered in any way, the user is advised to restart HTMS.

1. The developer has taken great care in proofreading the text in HTMS files.
2. Nevertheless, the possibility of errors cannot be dismissed.

1. The text in HTMS comes from the volumes dated 1917 which Pastor Russell sent to the printers just prior to his death.
2. Subsequent publishers have changed wording, dropped and added footnotes, and made other typographic changes.

1. There were some typographic errors in the 1917 editions of the volumes.
2. Where typographic errors were significant, they have been corrected in a manner that shows what was, and what it should be.
3. These corrections are highlighted and indexed for easy recognition.

1. The developer is reluctant to change Br. Russell's wording including misspelling of names or words that are not confusing to the understanding of the Harvest Truth Message.
